Perfectly content to remain here.There is something that grabbed hold of me on a previous trip to Sedona and The Grand Canyon, and now I think I will have to return again and again to the great Southwest to reacquaint myself with it.

Prehistoric petroglyphs along the trail. There are quite a few spots with them, even depicting reindeer, which would not be a possible resident of this desert. Thousands of years ago the landscape would be quite different.
